Asphalt sealcoating, crack sealing, and striping for Brockway driveways and lots, from the crew that’s maintained Sierra pavement since 1965.
Working in Brockway
Brockway climbs the old summit grade above Kings Beach toward the state line — steep lanes, big snow, and driveways that shrug meltwater downhill all spring. It’s a short list of streets, and we’ve worked most of them at some point since 1965.
Brockway jobs ride with our Kings Beach and Crystal Bay routes. Steep-drive crack sealing is the high-value item here — water moves fast on a grade and finds every gap.

Brockway is on the grade above Kings Beach where Highway 267 tops out. It is one of the higher points on any of our regular runs, and it is usually the first place to hold snow on the drive down.
This is higher ground, and the season shortens accordingly. Snow arrives earlier in the fall and lingers later in the spring, which compresses the window for anything that has to cure. The realistic plan at this elevation is to schedule early in the season rather than counting on a late one.
Pavement on a grade lives differently. Plows work harder, meltwater always has somewhere to run, and edges take the beating. Driveways and access roads up here earn their keep from tight cracks and good drainage far more than from a fresh surface.
That is how we prefer to do it. Pavement condition drives the whole scope, and a quote made without seeing the surface is a guess. We reply to requests within one business day and set up a walkthrough from there.
Walk it after the melt. Look for cracks you can slide a card into, spots where cracks have connected into a web, areas that pond water, and edges that are crumbling. Those four things tell us most of what we need to know.
