Working in Alpine Meadows

Local pavement,
local knowledge.

Alpine Meadows shares its ski area with Palisades but keeps its own valley: a quiet road of cabins and homes dead-ending at the lifts. Deep snow, late melt, and one way in and out: pavement here has to be right, because everything drives over it.

We maintain drives and lanes up and down the valley on the same rounds as Olympic Valley. Late-opening season here: the valley floor holds snow, so we book Alpine work into midsummer.

What we do in Alpine Meadows

Three services.
Built for this elevation.

Asphalt Sealcoating

OverKote sealer, proven in this climate for 30+ years. The layer that takes the plow-and-sun beating instead of your asphalt.

Crack Sealing

Routed, cleaned, and pressure-filled with hot rubberized sealant, so freeze-thaw can’t turn hairlines into potholes.

Striping

Lots, ADA layout, courts, and trails — crisp lines that stand up to snow-removal season.

Getting to Alpine Meadows from the yard

Alpine Meadows is the next valley south, up Alpine Meadows Road off Highway 89. Quieter than its neighbor and a bit higher, with a single road in and out.

What Alpine Meadows pavement is up against

Above 6,250 feet the winter is longer and the equipment working the pavement is busier. More plow passes mean more surface wear and more chances for a blade to catch an edge. Going into the season with a smooth surface and closed cracks is what separates pavement that holds up here from pavement that does not.

A narrow valley with a ski area at the head of it and residential pavement along the way. One road in means access matters, so work here gets sequenced to keep the corridor open rather than closing it.

Questions we get from Alpine Meadows

Can you look at my Alpine Meadows property before quoting?

That is how we prefer to do it. Pavement condition drives the whole scope, and a quote made without seeing the surface is a guess. We reply to requests within one business day and set up a walkthrough from there.

Does the snow removal in Alpine Meadows affect what my pavement needs?

It affects it more than most people realize. Plow blades wear the surface and catch on any raised edge, so pavement that goes into winter smooth and tight comes out in far better shape than pavement that goes in with open cracks.
